About Me
Donna lives in Eugene, Or. She has
been creating baskets since 1986, and
started teaching workshops shortly
after. She is available to teach most
types of basketmaking techniques, and
can tailor workshops to meet your
needs. In 2006-07, she taught for the
Vi Phillips basketry guild retreat in N.W.
Washington, the EMU Craft Center/
University of OR., Sitka Center for the
Arts and Ecology, in Otis, OR, Fiber in
the Forest, Myrtle, OR, Feather River
Art Camp, Quincy, CA, and Ghost Ranch
Conference Center, Abiquiu, New
Mexico.
Donna teaches adults and children.
She has many years of experience with
elementary school age children, as a
teaching assistant, plus many art
residencies at schools throughout
Lane County.
